By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.


3. Our Services

We provide:

  • Luxury beach picnic setups

  • Styled décor and furniture

  • Optional enhancements and upgrades

Food and beverages are not included unless explicitly stated and may be supplied by the client or third parties.


4. Booking & Payment

4.1 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when:

  • Full payment is received, and

  • Written confirmation is issued by us

4.2 Payment Terms

  • Full payment must be made at least 3 prior to your booking date

  • Payments may be accepted via bank transfer, card, mobile money and cash.

  • Prices are listed in USD and/or Tanzanian Shillings (TZS)

4.3 Currency

Payments can only be made in USD or TZS.


5. Pricing Transparency

All prices:

  • Include picnic setup and agreed styling

  • Exclude optional upgrades unless selected

  • Exclude transport or location fees outside standard areas

  • Exclude food and drinks unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Additional costs will always be communicated before confirmation.


6. Customer Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Arrive on time for their booking. Booking will be cancelled with no refund after 30 min.

  • Treat all equipment and décor with care

  • Follow any safety instructions provided

You are responsible for any damage caused by misuse or negligence.


7. Location & Permissions

All experiences are subject to:

  • Local beach regulations

  • Government and tourism authority permissions

Some locations may:

  • Require additional permits

  • Incur transport or access fees

These will be advised in advance where applicable.


8. Weather Policy

Our experiences are held outdoors and are subject to weather conditions.

If conditions are deemed unsafe or unsuitable, we will offer:

  • Rescheduling to an alternative date, or

  • A credit note for future use

Refunds are handled in accordance with the cancellation policy below.


9. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

9.1 EU Consumer Notice (Right of Withdrawal)

Under EU consumer law, the standard 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to:

Leisure services booked for a specific date or time

By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and accept this exemption.


9.2 Customer Cancellations

9.3 Rescheduling

  • Free rescheduling up to 72 hours before your booking

  • Subject to availability


9.4 No-Show Policy

Failure to attend your booking will result in no refund.


9.5 Business Cancellations

If we cancel due to operational or external factors, you will be offered:

  • A full refund, or

  • Rescheduling at no additional cost


10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings

  • We are not responsible for food supplied by clients or third parties

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.


11. Food & Beverage Disclaimer

Where food or beverages are provided by the client or external vendors:

  • The Shoreline Society accepts no responsibility for food safety, preparation, or quality

Clients are responsible for ensuring proper handling and storage.


12. Participation & Safety

Clients participate in all experiences at their own risk.

You are responsible for:

  • Your personal safety

  • Following any guidance provided

We reserve the right to refuse service if safety conditions are not met.


13. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for failure or delay due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Tides or environmental factors

  • Government restrictions

  • Transport disruptions

  • Natural disasters


14. Intellectual Property

All branding, content, and imagery on this website remain the property of The Shoreline Society and may not be used without permission.
